Swastikas Found Drawn In Crayon On Window At Middle School In Darien

Police are investigating after they say several swastikas were drawn on a window at a Darien middle school.

Darien Police say they received a report from the School Resource Officer assigned to Middlesex Middle School that someone had drawn three swastika symbols in crayon on an exterior window on Monday, Sept. 9 around 6 a.m.

The SRO photographed the markings before they were removed, police say.

The vandalism is believed to have occurred between Friday, Sept. 6 and Monday, Sept. 9, police say.

School officials are working alongside Darien Police to investigate the possible identification of a suspect.
